Hæftling Jailwear concept store

Premium street wear, designed by prison inmates, manufactured by professionals: with rough fabrics, original print patterns and muted colours, Hæftling evolved into an internationally acclaimed „must have label with authenticity and quality“ („Prinz“ magazine, Berlin). All products „really originated in (or are at least inspired by) the nick“ („Die Welt“ newspaper, Berlin/Hamburg). bontempo designed and realised the world’s first „jailwear store“ in Berlin’s central district Mitte with massive yet stylish materials and shapes – including inventive details such as light fittings resembling searchlights. The unique concept generated an overwhelming media response with coverage in 16 countries.
