Danish Daughters has made it its mission to introduce premium designer brands from Denmark like Noa Noa, Carré or By Groth into the German market. The goal for its Hamburg showroom was both clear and complex: a world of design for a world of design; a setting that creates an intuitive understanding for the common characteristics of Scandinavian chic without forcing the individual brands into a uniform design grid. bontempo provided both store design and construction and realised the project objectives with a bright, natural look consisting of wood, metal and organically shaped MDF elements with high-quality surfaces that integrated the existing substance of the historic building into the whole with loving attention to detail.
